SmartCloset ("we", "our", "the app") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights regarding that data.

1. What we collect

• Account data — when you sign in, we store your email address and a unique user ID so we can sync your wardrobe across devices.
• Wardrobe data — photos and tags of clothing items you scan into the app, stored under your account.
• Usage data — anonymous event counters (for example, how often AI features are used) so we can monitor service health and quotas.
• Device permissions — camera and photo library access are only used locally to capture clothing items. We never read other photos.

2. What we do not collect

• We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers.
• We do not collect contacts, location, microphone, or health data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How your data is used

Your wardrobe and outfits are only used to provide the styling features inside SmartCloset. AI requests (outfit generation, image analysis) are sent to our processing service over an encrypted connection and are not retained for training.

4. Subscriptions & payments

Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment details.

5. Data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and all linked data at any time from inside the app: Settings → Account → menu (⋯) → Delete account. The deletion is immediate and irreversible.

6. Children

SmartCloset is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
